The Performance Extension provided by the Rishi Companion plugin help you in improving your website performance and make your website load faster.
Activating the Performance Extension #
You can access the Performance Extension via WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Rishi Theme > Extensions. Then click the Activate button to get the Performance extension to work.
Configuring Performance Settings #
Once the Performance extension is activated, you can configure the Performance Settings for your website via Appearance > Customize > Extensions > Performance.
Rishi Companion plugin offers optimization options for the following elements of a website.
- Images

- CSS/JS Optimization
- Fonts
- Elementor
- WooCommerce
Optimization option for Images #
Lazy Load Images: Enable this option to enable Lazy loading for your site images.
Images Loading Animation Type: Select the animation type for loading images.
Disable Lazy Load on Featured Image: Enabling this option will disable lazy loading for the featured image on single post.
Lightbox for Images and Galleries: You can enable the lightbox feature for your images.
Disable Responsive Images: Enable this option to disable responsive images on your website.
Image Dimensions (360×240 | 750×520 | 1170×650): Via this option, you can enable the crop size for the featured images. You can disable the ones that you are not using to save your hosting space.
Optimization option for WordPress #
Prevent Automatic Favicon Request: Enabling this option will disable the automatic favicon request to speed up your site.
Remove Emojis from frontend: You can remove WordPress Emojis JavaScript file from your website frontend.
Disable self Pingbacks: Enabling this option will disable Self Pingbacks (generated when linking to an article on your own blog).
Disable RSS Feeds: Enable this option to disable WordPress generated RSS feeds and 301 redirect URL to parent.
Remove RSS Feed Links: Enable this option to disable WordPress generated RSS feed link tags.
Disable WordPress Embeds: Enabling this option will remove WordPress Embeds Javascript file.
Local Gravatars: You can enable this option to load Gravatars from your own server that will help improve loading time.
CSS/JS Optimization #
Remove “ver” parameter from CSS and JS file calls: Enable this option to remove version query strings from your static resources to improve the caching of those resources.
Disable Gutenberg style on Page Builder: Enable this option to disable the block style css on the page built with Elementor.
Preload CSS: You can preload your CSS files that helps the pages to load quicker.
Defer JavaScript Files: Enable this option to defer loading of render-blocking JavaScript files for faster website loading.
Optimization option for Fonts #
Display Swap: Enabling this option will add font display swap property to your Google fonts to improve their rendering.
Load Google Fonts Locally: You can host Google Fonts from your server to speed up your website.
Preload Local Fonts: Enabling this option will preload Google fonts on your website.
Flush Local Fonts Cache: You can click on the Confirm button to reset the cache of local fonts.
Optimization option for Elementor #
Disable Google fonts: Enabling this option will prevent Elementor Google fonts from loading.
Disable Icons: Enabling this option will prevent Elementor icons from loading.
Disable Font Awesome: Enabling this option will prevent Elementor Font Awesome icons from loading.
Disable Frontend Script: Enabling this option will prevent Elementor frontend scripts (such as swiper, dialog, share link) from loading.
Disable Elementor Pro scripts: Enabling this option will prevent some of the scripts of Elementor Pro from loading.
Optimization option for WooCommerce #
Disable Scripts and Styles: Enabling this option disables WooCommerce scripts and styles except on product, cart, and checkout pages.
Disable Cart Fragmentation: Enabling this option completely disables the WooCommerce cart fragmentation script.
