How to Configure Social Sharing Settings?

The Social Sharing Extension enables the feature that allows your website visitors to share your website posts across different social networks.

Activating the Social Sharing Extension #

You can access the Social Sharing Extension via WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Rishi Theme > Extensions. Then enable the toggle to activate Social Sharing extension.

Configuring Social Sharing Settings #

You can configure the Social Sharing Settings for your website via Appearance > Customize > Blog > Single Post > Social Sharing.

General Setting #

The following are the different settings provided under the General Settings tab:

Title: Enabling this option will allow you to enter and display the title for the Social sharing box.

Open Graph Meta Tags: Disable this option if you’re using Jetpack, Yoast or other plugins to maintain Open Graph Meta Tags.

Sticky Share: Activate this option if you wish to have the Social Sharing box persistently displayed even as the post is scrolled down.

Note – Enabling the Sticky Share option will allow you to locate the Social Sharing box to the left or right side of the post and select the offset values whereas disabling this option will allow you to locate the Social Sharing box to the top or bottom of the post and select the alignment for it.

Alignment: Choose the alignment to display social sharing buttons.

Shape: You can transform the icons to either circular or square shape.

Social Networks: Enable the Social networks where you want to allow your posts to be shared.

Set links to nofollow: Enable this option to add “nofollow” attribute to the shared post links.

Icon Size: You can adjust the icon size here.

Icons Spacing: Set the value for top, right, bottom and left spacing for each icon.

Visibility: Select the device where you want to make the Social Sharing icons visible.

Design Setting #

Here you can choose to display either the brand color for each social sharing icon or you can set your own preferred custom color to all the social sharing icons.
