The Custom Code Snippets is a premium extension provided by the Rishi Pro plugin. It allows you to inject custom code snippets to the header, body and footer file of your entire website or an individual post/page. This feature removes the hassle of manually editing the theme files or adding any third party plugins to add custom codes.
Activating the Custom Code Snippets Extension #
You can access the Custom Code Snippets Extension via WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Rishi Theme > Extensions > Pro Extensions. Then click the Activate button to get the Custom Code Snippets extension to work.
Configuring Custom Code Snippets Settings #
After activating the Custom Code Snippets extension you will have two ways to manage your snippets:
Globally #
You can use this setting if you want to add the custom code to the header, footer or body element of your entire website content.
For this,
- Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Extensions > Custom Code Snippets.
- Enter your header, body or footer scripts in the respective field.
- Click Publish.
Per page/post #
If you want to apply a script to an individual page or post on your website then this option is the best fit for you.
Listed below is the required configuration steps:
- Edit your page/post
- Click on Rishi Page Settings
- Visit the Custom Code Snippets panel
- Add your header, body or footer scripts in the respective field.
- Click on Update.
